Who we are
FirmFooting provides operations consulting for small US law firms. In this policy, "we" and "FirmFooting" mean the FirmFooting business, and "you" means anyone who visits this site or contacts us through it. Reach us any time at hello@firmfooting.co.
What we collect
We keep data collection deliberately small:
- Information you give us. When you fill in the Footing Assessment or contact us, we collect the name, email, and phone you provide, plus the answers and estimates from the assessment itself. That is it.
- Basic, anonymous usage data. We use privacy-first analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, in aggregate. This does not identify you and does not follow you around the web.
Do not send us privileged or client-confidential information through this website. The assessment is about your firm's operations, not your matters.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, which is why there is no "manage cookies" pop-up here.
How we use your information
- To send you the report or reply you asked for.
- To follow up, once, about your assessment or a possible engagement. You can tell us to stop at any time.
- To improve this site and our briefs, using only anonymous, aggregate data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
Who else touches your data
A few trusted services help us run the site and respond to you, and they only receive what they need: our website host, our scheduling tool if you book a call, and our email provider.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@firmfooting.co and we will respond promptly.

By using this website you agree to a few straightforward things.
What this site is
This site provides general information about FirmFooting and free tools such as the Exposure Calculator and Footing Assessment. Their estimates are directional, based on typical industry figures, and are not professional advice about your specific firm.

FirmFooting builds operational systems. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing here creates an engagement or an attorney relationship. We are not your lawyers, and we would be the first to tell you to talk to yours.
